I wasnt really too much of a blogging fan. This was before i discovered some very enjoyable reads by seasoned bloggers and I thought, this is fun :) It is like your own personal newspaper where you can post everything and anything you like, comment, critique, applaud, cry about etc etc. There fore, here goes:
My first post is about exercising. Since my usually limited mind could think only upto 7 am this morning when i taxed it with the charge of thinking up a topic to start my blog with. Anyway, so this morning, armed with new shoes and new tracks etc (you get the idea) i set out for a calesthenics class at mickey mehta's 360 (very good btw)
The session was gruelling, to say the least, and my inexperienced limbs cried out loud at the effort to do crunches. Since i was so adept at performing crunches, i decided to take a nap on the comfortable mat and let the others do the exercise. Of course, my irritating partner (responding to his clarion call of duty as a responsible partner) kept urging me up, but even his persuasions could not get me to do more than 5... !never mind, i credit him for getting me up atleast for those 5 times. My sister ont he other hand, seemed born for this.. She kept going..10..20..30.. no sign of jet lag or fatigue anywhere, considering she'd just landed in Bombay the previous day.
But all was not lost and I managed to reclaim some of the lost self worth in the other exercises. The flip side to the whole thing, as i smilingly and bravely might i add, bade good bye to the fellow mates and got into the car, was a crushing pain on my shoulders which made steering a car with power steering an unbelivably difficult task. The drive back was even more painful and flopping down on the sofa at home was the sweetest thing that ever happened to me since this morning!
Tomorrow I have an aerobics class.. More updates on that later!
